Language Training
UCR offers two years of Arabic which is a requirement for the major. Students are encouraged to take the placement test in late September or early October before signing up for Arabic 1. Please contact professor Jeff Sacks at jeff.sacks@ucr.edu.
In addition, students can take Persian or Turkish at other UC campuses, during study abroad in Turkey or at Cal State, San Bernardino. There are also online Persian classes available at UT-Austin and other places.
